OptumRx is the prescription drug administrator for Sharewell Choice and Wellwise Choice PPO and Sharewell Retiree and Wellwise Retiree PPO Health Plans.
OptumRx has one of the largest retail pharmacy networks with over 67,000 pharmacies. Most major anchors and chains are included. Simply present your ID card to the network pharmacy of your choice. For a list of network pharmacies, go to www.OptumRx.com.
Starting January 1, 2023, the Wellwise Medicare Retiree PPO plan will transition to an Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP). EGWP is a Medicare Part D plan sponsored by the County of Orange. Wellwise Medicare Retiree members will receive a separate Optum Rx pharmacy ID card. This card should be presented at the pharmacy. Wellwise Choice, Wellwise Early Retiree, Sharewell Choice and Sharewell Retiree PPO health plan members continue to use your Blue Shield ID card.

The Retail 90 Program is a convenient way to get a 90-day supply of your maintenance medications at select retail locations. (Your doctor must authorize a 90-day supply of the medication. OptumRx home delivery (90-day mail service medication program)
Home delivery allows you to receive a 90-day supply of your maintenance medications by mail. You can have your medicine delivered to your home, doctor’s office or anywhere you choose. Our home delivery pharmacies are staffed with pharmacists who can answer your questions or speak to your doctor if needed. To enroll, visit www.OptumRx.com.
