Find a mental health provider
MHSA Network providers can treat anxiety, depression, addiction, and much more. This includes conditions that require intensive outpatient care or admission to a hospital or residential treatment center.

To find a mental health provider, select the Find a Doctor tool for your plan below:

  • Access+ HMO
  • Trio HMO
  • PPO, High Deductible PPO, or EPO
  • On the Find a Doctor tool, select MENTAL HEALTH and continue on to visit the MHSA Network.
  • On the provider search page, choose BSC MHSA as your “Benefit Plan” and Non-Medicare Provider under the “Provider List” drop-down selection.
  • Enter your location details, and select provider type, specialty, gender, ages treated, and any other criteria that are important to you. Then, select Search.
  • Note: To find an MHSA provider who offers virtual services, under Specialties, choose Telehealth.
  • Important: To find a mental health provider outside of California, visit the Blue Cross Blue Shield Network.

Telehealth is a convenient and secure way to speak with your clinician by using a browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer – all within the privacy of your home. The telehealth copay is $0 per visit for Crew Members with a Blue Shield health plan.

As a Blue Shield member, you can speak to licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals who can help you manage addiction, depression, stress or anxiety, domestic abuse, grief, and more (available for members 13YO+).* Teladoc visits are $0 for Crew Members with a Blue Shield health plan.

To schedule an appointment:

Visit blueshieldca.com/teladoc to register or log in and answer a few questions about your needs. Then, request an appointment. Please note that mental health appointments must be scheduled in advance. Mental health appointments are available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time, seven days a week.
